Kendrick Lamar‘s highly anticipated “B-tch Don’t Kill My Vibe” (Remix) drops featuring Jay-Z guesting on the standout track from his 2012 debut good kid, m.A.A.d. city. Young Guru debuted this joint with a soft-launch at the BitTorrent showcase during SXSW 2013. Footage of his set sent hip-hop heads into a frenzy as the clip was passed around the web. This week Funkmaster Flex got his hands on the final mix of the track and dropped it – bombs and all – for the masses. While the rough cut was pretty impressive, the final finds both MCs making quick work of the Sounwave track with what sounds like even more dexterity than what came with the festival exclusive. The duo deliver a joint performance that places King Kendrick emphatically in the company of legendary lyricists and separates both MCs even further from the hip-hop pack with a finished product that leaves he and Jay-Z sounding like men amongst boys. Though this is sort of an understatement of his performance, Kendrick absolutely kills it. Check it.
